It's time to expect more.
I’m running for the State Senate because I think we should expect more from our elected leaders.
If the past few years have proven anything, it’s that the career politicians have the wrong priorities. Instead of fixing our problems, they spend their time catering to special interests like banks and credit card companies, watching things get worse.
This politics-as-usual approach has really failed Linn and Benton counties during this recession. As a result too many families still don’t have health insurance, young people are still being priced out of college, and more and more of our friends and neighbors are losing their jobs and their hope for the future.
But it doesn’t have to be this way.
If our elected officials reflected our values and priorities, we could start making progress on economic recovery. More young people could get the college education that’s so vital to success today. And families could start making plans for the future again.
I hope you’ll take a few minutes to learn more about my plan for the future. If you have any suggestions or ideas, then please email me at dan@danrayfield.com or call me at (541) 740-2048.
Thanks for visiting my website. I look forward to talking with you soon about what matters most to you and your family.
Sincerely,

Dan Rayfield
