Rayfield Gears up for 2020 Town Halls

CORVALLIS – Representative Dan Rayfield (D – Corvallis) will kick off the new year with a town hall on January 29th from 7-8:30pm at the Benton County Historical Museum in Philomath. Additional town halls have been scheduled during the months of February, March, and April, which will be hosted by the League of Women Voters.

Since first elected in 2014, Rayfield has consistently held town halls and Community Coffees throughout the year to hear from constituents and community members. This continues to be an opportunity for the community to get to know Rayfield, connect on important issues, and stay engaged in the legislative process.

“We value the engagement and input of our community,” said Rayfield. “This is an opportunity for our constituents to learn more about the topics we are focused on in 2020, express opinions on issues they care about, and allow us to continue shaping our agenda to meet the needs of the community.”

Topics of the January 29th Forum will include: A summary of the 2019 Legislative Session, a first look at the 2020 Legislative Session, and will conclude with a question and answer session with Rayfield.

“We’re looking forward to facilitating these discussions,” said Rayfield. “It’s important that we continue to find ways to hear from our community about their values and goals.”
