Rayfield to Hold Community Coffee Events in Corvallis and Philomath

CORVALLIS – Rep. Dan Rayfield (D – Corvallis) will host two Community Coffee events to discuss the outcomes of the 2021 Legislative session. The first event will occur on Saturday, July 24th from 10 to 11 am at the MLK Park Barn in Corvallis (4905 NW Walnut Blvd.). The second event will take place on Saturday, August 11th from 10 to 11 am at the Philomath City Park (299 S 23rd St.).

“I look forward to these opportunities to hear directly from the community, as well as sharing the progress we made this session,” said Rayfield. “A large part of my job is making sure that we are working on the issues that are most important to Benton County.”

Since taking office in 2015, Rayfield has consistently held Community Coffees and other events to give constituents an opportunity to communicate with his office directly. These in-person events have been on a hiatus due to COVID-19 concerns but are now returning to both Corvallis and Philomath.

“We had a take a little break from these events while we were observing COVID-19 protocol, but I think they are really valuable and I am glad we are able to get back to them,” said Rayfield. “The 2021 session was unique in a lot of respects so I will be able to provide an inside look at what we accomplished.”
